Plain Speaking PR was first appointed by Dipple & Conway Opticians in 2016 tasked with delivering a PR campaign to celebrate its centenary year. 

We remain their PR agency today.


Before the celebratory campaign got underway, Plain Speaking PR advised the managing director to revisit the company’s core values and tone of voice to ensure all centenary activity positioned Dipple & Conway in exactly the right way. 


This Brand Vitals process has gone on to inform and guide all marketing and PR activity ever since, always ensuring consistency in the brand’s programme of communications. 


During the centenary year, Plain Speaking PR led on media relations, pitching historical features, business stories and photo-led pieces to the Norfolk media resulting in widespread and jubilant coverage while also looking forwards to an exciting new era under the next generation’s leadership. 


Since then, Plain Speaking PR has remained an extension of the Dipple & Conway team, securing ongoing PR opportunities and maximising sponsorships and community engagement partnerships. 


We are entrusted to lead campaigns including sponsorship of the GoGoDiscover Learning and Community Programme, supporting the charity Break. And add value in many ways, including social media campaigns, copywriting, award submissions and online content, always upholding the brand’s exceptional reputation for delivering the very best in clinical eyecare to the people of Norfolk.
