Norwich PR agency takes home gold at industry awards

Pippa Lain-Smith and Hannah Freeman of Plain Speaking PR Norwich collect their CIPR PRide award from Jonathan Wills of ITV Anglia and Adam Tuckwell, joint chair of the CIPR in East Anglia

On Thursday 28 September Norwich PR Agency, Plain Speaking, attended the CIPR PRide Awards for the Thames, Anglia & Chiltern regions at the Guildhall in Cambridge. We’re thrilled to say that we came home with a trophy!

Plain Speaking PR was a finalist in three categories (Best Consumer Campaign, Best Low Budget Campaign and Best Integrated Campaign) and we won the Gold Award in the Integrated category for our work with Dipple & Conway Opticians on Norwich Fashion Week 2017.

The judges said: “This campaign was a good example of how effective communication techniques were embraced to help an independent, family-run business stand out and engage with audiences in a competitive marketplace.”

Plain Speaking PR is based in Norwich and marked its 11th anniversary this October. We work with a range of local, regional and national clients, offering a full range of PR services from strategic communications planning to media relations; from copywriting to crisis management.

“We spend a lot of time writing winning award submissions for our clients, including Farnell Clarke, Camplings and intu Chapelfield, but is the first time in more than eight years that we’ve taken the time to enter an award for ourselves,” said Pippa Lain-Smith, Plain Speaking’s founder and MD.
